let it snow. let it snow. make it stop.

Today was the first day of "real" snow. As beautiful as it is, I am not sure I like it enough to warrant the slippery bitterness. If it snowed once every two weeks but then completely melted the next day and was followed up by 13 sunny days, I'd take it.

The first week of school has come to an end tonight. So far I am very excited with the past week's events but it didn't give a great indication of how the rest of the semester will go because I have two, two and a half hour classes on Mondays that haven't happened yet due to the great MLK. The one semi-issue is with my capstone class. In the past the clients for the advertising class have been Voltswagon, MGM Grand, and Citywide Financial. This year there were two choices and my class was to be randomly assigned one of them. We got the Arizona Daily Sun, the local Flagstaff newspaper. The alternative was Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde (gggggheto). While I was first upset, it's good to know that the client is easily accessible and is more likely to actually use our campaigns. I am also excited for my photography class mostly because we don't have to develop our own prints. We just take them to our nearest Target or Walgreens.

Those of you who have read Rachel's blog should already know that her father has a new blog entitled "Incite".The link has joined the others on the right. He has a new post already so for those interested you can add it to your blog rotation.

I find it funny that if you run spell check on Blogger it doesn't consider blog a recognizable word.
