popular demand

Here are a few picture from our Out of Africa safari. If I didn't get lazy, there should be more photos from our weekend on Flickr. Be warned that picture number three is not for the squeamish. In other words, enjoy Kim!

The infamous snap-happy ostrich. Not really. He just had no respect for personal space. I did not zoom at all to get this picture.

I just thought this picture was cool. Our tour guide got the animals to stand up to get some food. It was crazy to see how big these animals really are.

Some of you may know Sunday as the Sabbath. Out of Africa knows it as feed the carnivores large quantities of raw animal parts. Notice the fur that remains attached to the flesh. If you are wondering what animal this is from, it's horse. Whoever is able to identify what that is on the bottom left meat hook wins a prize.

Other than finding out that raw horse smells awful, the experience was great. It was a lot of fun to see these animals up close. Thanks again Rachel!

my apologies

I am sorry that I have neglected this site for so long. I am never sure what to write. I want this blog to be funny and amusing but I am not sure I can be that in written form anymore. I know I don't have to be funny for you to appreciate more posts but it is hard to motivate to post boring stuff such as this.

Our weekend in Sedona was just what the doctored ordered. The sights and weather were beautiful and we had an opportunity to visit our beloved Flagstaff. No really, we love it now. Out of Africa was awesome and an incredibly thoughtful gift on Rachel's part. I took some good pictures that I will post soon. Besides almost being bitten by an Ostrich, it was perfect.
