happy birthday rachel
It is important for me to say this because I know Rachel never will. Rachel has been told on multiple occasions how impressive her mock-marketing plan was for the interview that ultimately won her the current position of Associate Marketing Specialist. Today, she was told by a member of the committee that, during the interview, she thought, "We are interviewing the person that will be the head of NAU marketing some day". That is a prety strong first impression. This may not surprise me, or any of you that know how smart and talented Rachel is, but it genuinely surprises her every time. I will never understand why Rachel doesn't see it. She goes into these situations will little confidence but always walks away successful, impressing everyone she encounters. I need it to be clearly understood just how proud I am of her and how truly amazed I am by her. I only hope that she too can learn to see herself the same way. There is something to be said about being humble, but I think she needs a little credit. That is why I will be the one to give it to her.
And she is mine! :)

Here is a 3 second shotty cell phone video of the Great Pine Cone Drop in downtown Flagstaff. There was a surprising turnout despite the cold. Time Square has nothing on a Flagstaff New Year.
Probably not even worth it. I need a video camera apparently. Mostly I am just excited to embed my very own youtube video.
